Alex Bishop is happy to be back in Shakesfest after last year’s Measure for Measure.
Alex has also been on local stages in Tootsie (DHT), My Fair Lady (DHT), and The Mystery of Edwin Drood (MVT).

In the late 80s thru mid 90s, Andrew Chow appeared in various Kumu Kahua productions and strayed into an HPU and UH mainstage productions.
In the current century, Andrew has appeared in various HSF productions: Taming of the Shrew, Troilus & Cressida, The Winter’s Tale, Romeo & Juliet and One Uddah Mid’summah.
John D’Aversa is so happy to be appearing in HSF for the first time and brush up his Shakespeare with this terrific cast! After only a short while on island, he is tremendously grateful to the theatre community for welcoming him with such open arms, and hopes he can pay forward all the kindness he’s been shown.
Thanks to all attending, he hopes you enjoy the Shakespeare in the park and a HUGE thank you to his wife Emma for putting up with late nights and boring line work; without her none of his art would be possible.

Adam Kalma first studied acting at Chapman University and later with Ivana Chubbuck Studio and Second City Hollywood. He currently teaches acting and English classes at Moanalua High School. Go Menes!
He’s thrilled to join this inspiring cast and crew and be a part of the Hawaii Shakespeare Ohana. And, you can see him again in MVT’s Lend Me a Soprano next month as Leo “Der Tulip” Hoffmeier.

Christine Lamborn is thrilled to be performing with HSF again! You might have seen her in other HSF productions like Othello, King Lear, Timon of Athens , or the abridged, three-woman touring production of Hamlet.

This is Anuhea Magnani’s first performance with HSF and her first time playing an instrument made from a cigar box.

Juvy Lucina is stoked to be back performing for HSF and is pleased that her five years in South Carolina have helped her develop a workable Southern accent.
This is her second time doing As You Like It (also for HSF) and her first time acting at Hawaii Mission Houses.
Previous HSF shows include: As You Like It (2020, on Zoom), Macbeth, Edward III, and a one-time engagement doing One Uddah Mid’summah.
Juvy was last seen on stage playing four different roles (including a superhero!) in Mynx & Savage (TAG). She thanks you for coming out and supporting local theatre!
Manny Moreno is excited to be performing with HSF again this summer. Past HSF productions he performed in were 2022’s production of Taming of The Shrew and 2021’s live stream production of Twelfth Night.
Manny is currently working towards his BA in Theatre at UH Manoa. He thanks all of you for supporting HSF this summer and theatre around the island!
Eden Lee Murray is a professional actor/director/producer/artist-educator/published author. Since coming to O‘ahu in1992, she has directed or performed in every major venue on the island, earning sixteen HSTC Awards for her work.
A huge Shakespeare fan, Eden Lee edited, produced and directed ten of the Bard’s plays while running the Hawaii Young Actors Ensemble as Education Director at the Hawaii Theatre Center.
Over the years, she has played tasty roles in a number of Hawaii Shakespeare Festival productions, including the Fool in King Lear, and Falstaff twice, in Merry Wives of Windsor, and Henry IV, Part 1. Last year she was featured as Pompey-the-Pimp and the very old Friar Peter in HSF’s Measure for Measure.
This summer she is delighted to have a shot at playing “The Melancholy Jaques” in HSF’s production of As You Like It, amidst such a gifted cast. Mahalo nui, Swaine!
This is Ryan Phillips’ first exploration of Shakespeare, though you may have seen him as Charlie in the classic Death of a Salesman or dying as Mr. Body in Clue, both at MVT. Highlights of the last decade include; Mickey in The Final Score, various roles in the anthology series: Scintillating Stories Live, and Sgt Krebbs in the premier of William Blatty’s Twinkle, Twinkle, ‘Killer’ Kane.

Violette Skilling is thrilled, as in, upside-down-on-the roller-coaster thrilled, to be stepping into the role of Rosalind for her Hawaii Shakespeare Festival debut.
She just completed her foundation year at the Hawai’i Conservatory of Performing Arts and her recent credits include Antigone (Now), Kahahawai/Massie, and Aloha Attire (all at Palikū Theater).
Violette is wildly popular amongst the young and poor and would like to thank them, the girls in c. city, and this immensely talented cast of motley fools for this rendition of As You Like It. Hope ya do!
Named after the Hana-Barbara cat famous for “ballin’ on a budget” T. C. Smith is glad to make his first appearance at Hawaii Shakespeare Festival. He was seen recently playing Happy in Death of a Salesman at MVT. Upcoming projects include Phaseland, a local independent film, and various other offerings by Soundsmyth Mfg., an experimental music workshop. He has a cat named Sam.
Brett Williams is thankful for the opportunity to perform Shakespeare. For MVT, he enjoyed playing Max in The Play That Goes Wrong. Sacramento Shakes roles included Macduff, Henry V, and his favorite, Mercutio. He mainly remembers how fun the sword fights were. Other roles include Buddy in Welcome Back Jenny Sutter (TheatreFirst in Oakland), Slim in Of Mice and Men (Sacramento Theatre Co.), and Hal in Proof (Capital Stage). Weekdays, he is an EV policy advisor and PhD researcher.

Chloe Evans is excited to be back with Hawaii Shakespeare Festival this summer! This past year she had the pleasure of assistant directing Clue at MVT and Measure for Measure with HSF. She would like to thank the incredibly talented members of the cast and crew for making this play unforgettable!
Amber Baker is the costume shop supervisor at Manoa Valley Theatre as well as the costume instructor at Central Theatre Arts Academy in Mililani. Her recent design credits include Sweeney Todd and Dear Evan Hansen both at MVT.
She wants to thank her husband Andrew for all of his support.
Swaine Kaui has returned home for eight years now after developing his career in NY and abroad, and is currently the head of the HMS Performing Arts Academy (PA‘A), and the StageLeft! summer program.
Swaine has had the pleasure of crossing many stages both nationally and internationally, and is the recipient of the coveted NY Drama League Musical Theatre Directing Fellowship, recognizing the nation’s up and coming Theater Directors.
Composers that Swaine has had the pleasure of working with include: Richard Maltby, Bill Finn, and Jason Robert Brown. Studies include: Webster University, Conservatory, BFA - Artistic Direction/ Cultural Fusion, Graduate - Memphis University - MFA- Directing.
